A while back, I read the book “The Corporation” by Joel Mokyr. In the book, he provides a brief history of American industrialization, and how industrial revolution brought new prosperity to the U.S. And Europe, but ultimately brought down the whole system. This historical perspective made the book more interesting for me, since it helped me understand the context of how modern industrialization unfolded.
