Datavastatin (\|G-\|)-induced apoptosis in bovine lung epithelial cells (BAL) was previously reported using a rat hepatocyte-enriched cell line [@bib12; @bib13]. In contrast, we have recently reported a similar pathway in rat HPCs [@bib11; @bib16].
