The last month will see how a revised version of the IASC requirements is reached as it approaches its second full-year. Smith & Quesnatch’s strategy will centre on three key operational issues in the environment. These are data management, industrial impact and operational planning. The management will want to have a positive impact on the new IASC strategy that they are writing. What criteria will be the first requirement for the contract itself? Smith & Quesnatch have already announced both the operational criteria that would be the vehicle for measuring, evaluating and targeting the needs of the new business unit. They have also reached an agreement with local authorities to define three broad criteria for when they can draw the new contract.
